Dear Co Laborers,                                                                                             Sept, Oct & Nov

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas

We pray everything is going well in the lives of our family, friends, and supporters. Thanksgiving and Christmas is right around the corner. It is amazing how fast the time goes. We have so much to be thankful for even in the times that we are currently living. We look forward to gathering with fellow missionaries and celebrate the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays. From our family to yours, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas. May the Lord Bless You.

Evangelistic/Missions Month

Our Campaign is going very well. The Lord has blessed in many ways. Every week we are passing out John and Romans along with a flyer about our campaign. We started the Campaign with Children’s Day. We had a one day VBS where many children, some with their parents, came and enjoyed a day filled with songs, games, and prizes. Some received the greatest prize which was Jesus Christ. You can view a few pictures on our website www.crews2brazil.com. We still have a few special Sundays left in the campaign; Bible Day, Patriotic Day and a 5 day Missions Conference. Many have been saved so far, and we ask that you pray as we continue to reach those here in Sao Paulo with the saving Grace of our Lord.

First Portuguese Message

Sooner or later I knew I had to conquer the “first message” in Portuguese. I was given the opportunity to give a short message at a Youth Meeting. I wrote out my message in English and then translated it into Portuguese. Of course, not being fluent yet in the language, I read my message occasionally looking up. It reminded me the first time I preached in English. Nonetheless, God blessed the “reading” of His message. This coming week, I have the opportunity to teach the missionary lesson in Children’s Church. Our language is continuing to improve as we stretch ourselves a little more. We want to thank New Life Baptist Church for giving us the opportunity to train under their ministry.

Chicken Heart
Found in the Amazon and NE regions of Brazil, the PITU is the biggest freshwater shrimp in the world. It may reach 48 cm from its tail to its claws.
