            I apologize for the late prayer letter. It has been a busy, yet great few months. Many souls have been saved and added to the church as well as family coming down for a visit. I trust the Lord has blessed you in many ways. As you read this letter, please consider helping us with our first project in Brazil. First, let me share some blessings.    

BIMI Conference

            What a joy it was to take a week and spend with our fellow BIMI missionaries. Once a year, by Brazil law, we must meet with other missionaries within our mission for a business meeting. We were able to accomplish things for the future and hear great preaching from our director Bro Jimmy Rose and VP of BIMI Dr Ray Thompson. What a refreshing time it was for our family. 

Easter Cantata

            The church we are working with did their first Easter Cantata with a drama. The Lord blessed in many ways. With the help of my brother and sister recording the music and my music director helping me with the outline, we took the drama our church in the States does and translated it into Portuguese. As I taught the choir the music and formed a drama team, we began working on our cantata, The Passion of Christ. From Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, the Lord’s Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Cross and Resurrection, to His 2nd coming, we wanted to portray what Jesus did for us. With a full church each night, we were blessed to see 15 souls saved and many other decisions made. I received an email from one guest who said, “Never have I seen anything like this before. It was a great blessing to me.” Many came back the next night with friends saying, “You have to see this drama for yourself.” This presentation encouraged the members of the church, and they are already talking about next year!

            We have now been in Brazil for 2 years and 2 months. We are looking to the future of starting our own ministry. We have found a piece of property that will serve for many things.
